Liverpool FC jury: Fans on Luis Suarez's Newcastle masterclass LFC's striking options

Luis Suarez made the headlines for all the right reasons on Monday morning after putting in another flamboyant performance to ensure we took something out of the game against Newcastle.
The touch and finish from Suarez was magical and a goal he rightly deserved after another hard working performance from the Uruguayan. Better composure in front of goal would have seen us take all three points against a Newcastle side that was set up to defend and play on the counter attack. Attentions now turn to Anzhi and Chelsea in our next two upcoming fixtures, the trip to Moscow should give the younger players in the squad another opportunity to showcase their talent against respectful European opposition.
The level of intensity against Chelsea will have to improve if we are to pose a threat and have any chance. After an embarrassing exit from the Capital One Cup at the hands of Swansea, Liverpool returned to league action against Newcastle. The game followed a familiar pattern. Liverpool totally dominated possession, chances were created and not taken. Newcastle created one chance which they gleefully accepted, more suffering for the loyal supporters.
In the second half Liverpool did show more urgency. The pack was shuffled, Shelvey and Downing were introduced. Chances were created and still not taken. Enter Suarez, he produced a marvellous equaliser, a goal highlighting his outrageous skill. Rodgers remains upbeat. However, the need for someone to convert the chances created becomes more and more pressing with every match. Meanwhile, the minimum requirement of a fourth place finish seems light-years away.
