Liverpool win in court... again!

14 October 2010 17:49
After a third day in the High Courts, Liverpool have once again succeeded in their battle with Tom Hicks and George Gillett. Judge Justice Floyd described the summary of the High Court case in the owners' petition to Dallas court as 'impoverished' and an anti-suit injunction has been granted. "This case has nothing to do with Texas," he said, unimpressed with Hicks attempts to block the sale of the club via court in Dallas. Hicks and Gillett have until 4pm tomorrow to comply with the order. The decision paves the way for the sale of the club to John Henry's NESV Group, with the sale rumoured to be already done and dusted.
