Liverpool v Blackpool preview
Team news for Sunday's Premier League clash between Liverpool and Blackpool at Anfield (kick-off 3pm).[LNB] Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is set to return the starting line-up.[LNB]The midfielder was rested for the Europa League goalless draw in Utrecht, but there is a problem at left-back as Paul Konchesky (hamstring) and Fabio Aurelio (Achilles) are still injured while usual stand-in Daniel Agger has a groin problem and Martin Kelly, who filled in against Utrecht but did not look particularly comfortable, sustained a knee problem in Holland.[LNB]Summer signing Danny Wilson, another central defender, was tried there in the Carling Cup defeat to Northampton but also struggled. Jamie Carragher could possibly reprise a role he has not played for several years, with Sotirios Kyrgiakos coming into the middle of defence. However, Hodgson remains hopeful Kelly will recover in time.[LNB]Blackpool will again be without defender Alex Baptiste.[LNB]Baptiste missed last week's defeat to Blackburn after suffering a recurrence of an old knee ligament injury and has now had an operation.[LNB]The 24-year-old faces several weeks on the sidelines, where he joins Louis Almond, Malaury Martin and Billy Clarke.[LNB]Liverpool (from): Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Kelly, Meireles, Gerrard, Poulsen, Cole, Kuyt, Torres, Jones, Kyrgiakos, Babel, Pacheco, Ngog, Lucas, Rodriguez, Jovanovic.[LNB]Blackpool (from): Gilks, Kingson, Keinan, Eardley, Taylor-Fletcher, Crainey, Evatt, Adam, Vaughan, Varney, Ormerod, Campbell, Grandin, Harewood, Southern, Carney, Cathcart, Basham, Euell, Sylvestre, Demontagnac, Phillips, Edwards.
