Liverpool to face Roma in North America tour
iverpool will break new ground this summer when they play a glamour pre-season friendly against Italian giants AS Roma at the iconic baseball stadium Fenway Park. [LNB]The ground is home to the Boston Red Sox, who are owned, like Liverpool, by Fenway Sports Group and the game against Roma on July 25 is being staged to celebrate the venue's centenary.[LNB]This will be the first time Liverpool have travelled to North America for a tour since 2004 and it was inevitable that they would be based in Boston.
