According to sources (Dailymail, various blogs and news sites around the world) Liverpool are ready to beat off interest from Tottenham for the signature of 22 year old Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.

Damiao (currently sidelined with a hamstring injury) has been watched on numerous outings by Liverpool scouts (most recently at Craven cottage during the Brazil - Ghana friendly) and the reds could move for the striker in the January transfer window.

Tottenham had a 15million pound bid rejected in the summer as Internacional value the striker closer to 22million, with John Henry keen to bring the best young players in the world to Anfield it could only be a matter of time before Damiao signs and is reunited with good friend and fellow Brazilian Lucas Leiva.

Below is a compilation of what you can expect from Damiao.
