Unless the player's agent and Barcelona come to an agreement, Tello will be free to sign a pre-contract deal in January as his current deal expires at the end of the season.

Liverpool could be in pole position to sign the Spanish youngster as former Barca youth-team coach Rodolfo Borrell is now part of Brendan Rodgers' backroom staff. A long with the likes of Suso, Sterling and Wisdom all playing regular first team football.

Tello will need some persuasion from Liverpool to sign for the club, with arguably only Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard there two world-class players.
