[LNB]Jamie Carragher, Liverpool and England defender tells Sportsmail some of his secrets - everything from his sporting hero, to favourite karaoke song and favourite place to holiday...[LNB]Who is your sporting hero? Everyone knows I was an Everton fan when I was a kid and my heroes were Graeme Sharp, Peter Reid, Trevor Steven and Kevin Sheedy. But as I became more involved with Liverpool, it was Kenny Dalglish. As a player, manager and now ambassador, he's been different class. [LNB] Different class: Carragher lauded Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish [LNB]What would you be if you weren't a sportsman? It was always my ambition to become involved in football but I suppose if things had been different, I'd have done what my Dad did and brothers do and entered the building trade. [LNB]Career highlight? Easy. The one that stands head and shoulders above everything is winning the Champions League in 2005. Also, scoring on my first start against Aston Villa in January 1997. . . . [LNB] Magic moment: Carragher parades the 2005 European Cup with Steven Gerrard[LNB]...And the worst moment? Easy again. Losing the Champions League final in 2007. If I've watched the Istanbul game over and over again, I've never seen a second of the second match against AC Milan, nor do I want to. [LNB]If your house was burning down, what one possession would you save? Can I have more than one? It would be all the pictures of my wife, Nicola, and my kids, James and Mia. [LNB]Favourite karaoke song? What's the story? Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher[LNB]Where do you want to start! Give me anything by The Beatles and I'll happily grab a microphone. I'm not the best, mind. [LNB]Three most-listened to songs on your iPod?In My Life, The Beatles; Don't Look Back In Anger, Oasis; Fluorescent Adolescent, The Arctic Monkeys. [LNB]Last film you saw? I'm not great with films. I started Robin Hood a few weeks ago but switched off halfway through. My favourite film is One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, with Jack Nicholson. [LNB]Last book you read? Peter Mandelson's memoirs The Third Man. I quite enjoyed it. I'm hoping Tony Blair's A Journey finds its way into my Christmas stocking. [LNB]Favourite pre-match meal? Chicken and pasta. It has been the staple ever since I broke into the team in 1997. [LNB]Can you cook? Best dish? You must be joking! I can't cook and I won't cook. You can leave me in charge of breakfast and I can put something in a microwave but that's about it. [LNB]Your favourite holiday destination? Places like New York or the Far East can wait until I've finished. At this moment you can't beat Disneyland in Florida with the family. I still owe them as I had to cancel last year's because of the World Cup. [LNB]In a film of your life, who would play you? Andrew Schofield. He's an actor from Liverpool best known for the television series Scully.[LNB] Tell us a secret... Just one? We are big X Factor fans in our house and, as you can imagine, we wanted Rebecca Ferguson to win the last series. To do our bit, we voted for her. Then voted again. And again. By the time voting closed in the final programme, I'd voted for her 200 times.[LNB]  Carra is 'nothing': Blackburn star Diouf hits out at former Liverpool team-mateJamie Redknapp: Carragher for England would be brilliant...Carra's calling: England target veteran as man to lead their next generation LIVERPOOL FC
