Liverpool forward Luis Suarez is apparently considering his future at the club, with Manchester City ready to pounce on the 25 year old. The Citizens are set to re-kindle their interest, and venture into the possibility of signing the forward in the summer.

Manchester City are ready to offer Liverpool £45million pound for the Uruguyian, as well as offering him a long term £170,000 a week contract.

Fenway Sports Group [FSG], fear that Luis Suarez will seek to leave Anfield in the summer if the club fail to qualify for European football. Suarez has been in scintillating form this season, with 15 league goals already so far.

The 25-year-old is eager to play in the Champions League and his representatives are understood to be considering potential options, although most clubs will be deterred by Liverpool’s £40 million-plus asking price.

However, after recently signing a new and imrpoved long-term deal at Liverpool, and insisting time and time again he is happy at the club - Manchester City will have to work hard to sign the forward this January.

Liverpool and Suarez have been through a lot together since Suarez signed in January 2011, and whilst the Uruguyian looks to have a strong bond with the club, will he be tempted by the riches of Manchester City?
