Zenit St Petersburg are ready to price Liverpool out of a move for Alexander Anyukov as Roy Hodgson searches for new right back.[LNB]The Russia international has been tipped for Anfield in the past and admits he is an avid fan of the Barclays Premier League.[LNB]But the Russian champions would demand a hefty fee to consider letting the reliable full back leave.[LNB] In demand: Anyukov (right) in action for Zenit earlier this season[LNB]Spartak Moscow are testing the water about his availability and Bayern Munich have also been linked.[LNB]But a £17million fee has already been mooted, which is more than Liverpool are likely to receive for unsettled England international Glen Johson.[LNB]The Reds have already missed out on Rod Fanni, who is leaving Rennes for Marseille, but are also tracking Lazio's Stephan Lichtsteiner.[LNB]Hodgson's scouts have been active in Russia, with Zenit striker Alexander Kerzhakov also on their watch list.[LNB]Anyukov will no doubt have impressed them as well in captaining his club to the domestic league title and five wins out of five in their Europa League group.[LNB]Leaving as Zenit appear on the up would be a surprise, but he admitted this month: 'I like to watch English football on TV.[LNB]'People there fight till the last minute, even a 3-0 lead doesn't guarantee victory. And fans don't leave the stands till the final whistle.[LNB]'I played in recently in Dublin against the Republic of Ireland. The home team were three behind and the fans' reaction was still as if their team were winning confidently. Therefore, their players kept attacking and pulled two back.[LNB]'In Russia, if the home team are losing - I wouldn't want to repeat (what is said)! Our fans need to learn something from the English. We are engaged in a common cause.'[LNB] Liverpool star Dirk Kuyt insists Reds are well placed to win Europa LeagueAurelio outlines 12-point plan to bring Christmas cheer to Liverpool LIVERPOOL FC
