Brendan Rodgers once again confirmed he will be looking to bring one or two new players to Anfield during the January transfer window and the latest player to be linked with the club is Sporting Lisbon's attacking winger Jeffren Suarez

According to Portuguese newspaper Jornol Record Liverpool are looking to bring in the 24-year-old attacker after the Reds have sent scouts to watch the former Spanish U21 player on a number of occasions.

Rodgers is said to have been impressed with the former Barcelona starlet as he desperately tries to address his sides lack of attacking creativity.

Given Suarez's superb form upfront for Liverpool, Rodgers may be looking to bring in a goal scoring wide man, a category that Jeffren fits into perfectly. Although the player is thought to have a £24 million buyout clause, a price which may cool Liverpool's interest in the Spanish forward.
