From reports that can read on Italian news source tuttomercato Liverpool are believed in the market for Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva as per tuttomercatoweb (translation required)
The 26-year-old Italian international has been earmarked for a move to Anfield by Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, as per Metro who say Brendan Rodgers is eyeing a summer deal for the midfielder.
Candreva is looking to hold down a spot in the Italian side ahead of this summer’s World Cup, and is widely regarded as a solid, versatile player, able to play on the wing or in a more central role and so far this season has contributed 4 goals and 7 assists for Lazio in Serie A.
As it stands any deal for the player would be complex, with both Lazio and Udinese owning 50 per cent each of the player.
