TalkSPORT have reported that Liverpool's chances of signing Benfica forward Oscar Cardozo have been given a boost after the players agent suggested a deal to move elsewhere may still be possible
Pedro Aldave was quoted as saying:
“Cardozo wants to make this contract last for life,"
“It will be the last one of his life so it must be good for him. A deal elsewhere? That depends on Benfica and whether it pleases them.”
These comments would suggest that a deal to bring the forward to Anfield could still be possible, and with Rodgers in desperate needs of an attacking boost the club will try their hardest to make a move possible.
Luis Suarez has been in fine form so far this season but Rodgers want's a striker he can turn to when Liverpool's plan A isn't working, a situation that was highlighted in the Reds recent defeat to Tottenham.
