Giving the boot: Zarate has rejected talk of a move to Liverpool[LNB]Liverpool have been rebuffed by Lazio's on-loan Argentinian striker Mauro Zarate who wants to stay with the Serie A side after bagging his 12th goal of the season in Saturday's 1-0 win over Genoa.[LNB]Manager Rafa Benitez had been tracking the 22-year-old, who is on loan from Qatar's Al Sadd and scored four goals in 13 Premier League games for Birmingham last season but Zarate said: 'I want to remain at Lazio. I love it here.'[LNB]Benitez had  monitored Zarate since he impressed for Argentina's Under 20 side, playing alongside current Liverpool left back Emiliano Insua, and saw him as a perfect strike partner for Fernando Torres.[LNB]The only remaining hope for Liverpool is if Lazio fail to tie up a permanent deal before the April 30 deadline for a move set by Al Sadd.[LNB] Liverpool legend Dalglish set for Anfield return to advise boss BenitezStar striker Torres denied summer break as Liverpool Thai up July tour LIVERPOOL FC
