Snowy football[LNB]* FOLLOW us on Twitter for all the latest LFC news here[LNB]LIVERPOOL'S Boxing Day clash at Blackpool is already in danger of being postponed due to the adverse weather conditions.[LNB]The Reds are scheduled to face Ian Holloway's men this Sunday, but with heavy snow and freezing temperatures bringing much of the country to a standstill over the last few days, there are real fears the game may be postponed.[LNB]Blackpool's Bloomfield Road stadium is one of the few Premier League grounds which does not have an undersoil heating facility, and the club has already seen home fixtures with Manchester United and Tottenham called off this month.[LNB] Liverpool themselves were left frustrated by the elements last weekend, as heavy snow and icy conditions in the area surrounding Anfield forced the postponement of their clash with Fulham on Saturday evening.[LNB]They have also seen this week's academy and reserve team fixtures fall victim to the cold snap, as temperatures plummet to as low as -16 degrees.[LNB]Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston says he expects the Bloomfield Road pitch to pass Premier League inspections this week, but believes fears over the safety of supporters could place the game in jeopardy.[LNB]'We can almost certainly guarantee the pitch will be playable but it is the prevailing conditions once the covers have been removed and whether the pitch will freeze before the end of the game taking place,' the Blackpool chairman, Karl Oyston, warned. 'That is one we are talking to the Premier League about, to see what their standpoint and inspection protocol will be.'
