Steven Gerrard[LNB]STEVEN GERRARD today set his sights on helping Liverpool embark on a scoring spree as he celebrated his latest entry into the record books.[LNB]The Reds' skipper surpassed Alan Shearer last night when his strike in the 3-1 win over Unirea Urziceni took his tally of European goals to 33.[LNB]Not surprisingly, Gerrard was thrilled with his latest feat but he took greater delight in the fact Liverpool registered three in a game for the first time since September 26.[LNB]Liverpool's lack of attacking verve has been a cause for real alarm in recent months but Gerrard is hoping things are now going to take a dramatic change for the better.[LNB]That's why he has called for his team-mates to show a renewed sense of adventure when they return to Premier League duty against Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.[LNB]'It was slightly worrying that we were not creating enough,' said Gerrard. 'To win football matches you have got to create a lot of chances and we did that.[LNB]'That's what made last night so pleasing. Now we've got to get the balance right between now and the end of the season.[LNB]'We've got to be good defensively but have a bit of bottle and be a bit risky in the final third as well. You have got to keep making chances.'[LNB]Rafa Benitez's side certainly did that in difficult conditions in Bucharest, coming from behind to win following efforts from Javier Mascherano, Ryan Babel and Gerrard.
