Raul Meireles 300[LNB]RAUL MEIRELES is ready to take his impressive form up another level as he insisted his harsh introduction in English football could not have been more beneficial.[LNB]The Portugal midfielder was one of Liverpool's top performers in Saturday night's 3-0 drubbing of West Ham United and relished being able to dictate play from a central position.[LNB]Meireles, who cost £11.4m when he arrived from FC Porto in August, has been shuttled out to the right flank in recent weeks and, before that, occasionally found things happening too quickly.[LNB]His display against West Ham, however, suggested he has now become fully attuned to the frantic pace of the Premier League and the 27-year-old is becoming more confident with each passing day.[LNB] What's more, he believes those early troubles will help him and the team going forward and Meireles hopes this latest success is a sign of things to come.[LNB]'I know the team did not start so well when I first signed but you have seen glimpses of what we can do during the recent four game winning run,' said Meireles.[LNB]'We lost a couple but we got it back against West Ham.[LNB]'The Premier League is difficult and it has been difficult playing in England because all the teams you come up against are good.[LNB]'This is more competitive but I am feeling more comfortable.[LNB]'When you are winning, things are always better and all the players are helping me.
