Liverpool FC manager Rafa Benitez eager to give Emiliano Insua a rest

RAFA BENITEZ today admitted he is desperate for Liverpool's injury crisis to relent so he can give Emiliano Insua a much-needed break.[LNB]Insua has been a near constant presence at left-back this season and the only games he has missed in the last three months were trips to Leeds - in the Carling Cup - and Sunderland.[LNB]There have been occasions, though, when the 20-year-old has looked as if he would benefit from a rest and Benitez does not want to ask too much of the Argentina defender too soon.[LNB]But with Fabio Aurelio and Andrea Dossena both wrestling fitness problems, Liverpool's manager has had no option but to ask Insua to carry on.[LNB]He has shown improvement in recent games as the Reds have kept three clean sheets but Benitez expects Insua will be better again once he has had a chance to catch breath.[LNB]'It's not just been a problem with Emiliano,' said Benitez. 'There have been other players who have had to play too many games because of our injuries.[LNB]'But once we have some more players coming back, hopefully we will be able to manage in a better way and Emiliano is definitely someone who will benefit (from a break).
