Liverpool FC letters: Reds fans on Damien Comolli and Alberto Aquilani

DAMIEN COMOLLI is a shrewd guy and although he says he respects Roy Hodgson's largely unsuccessful career, it doesn't necessarily mean that he believes Roy is the right manager for Liverpool.[LNB]Watching the Comolli interview it was apparent that he has more respect for Kenny Dalglish.[LNB]Hopefully Kenny can replace Roy.[LNB]dogleash[LNB] I GET the feeling the club needs to be careful how they involve King Kenny.[LNB]The man is a legend, loved by all fans and a hero to many but it seems to me that anyone who has come in and been placed into a senior role seems to say 'Kenny is essential to my role'.[LNB]I think that can get quite patronising and the club really need to respect the man a little more by offering some clarity over his real role at the club.[LNB]Jutiar3_16[LNB]IN spite of some Reds fans' cynicism, the appointment of Damien Comolli as our director of football strategy could be a good move.[LNB]There's no doubt that Fenway will be more receptive to Comolli's recommendations than Spurs probably were - the Moneyball connection.[LNB]Comolli identified some good players for Spurs. It will be vital that the new manager signs up to this business model and then coaches the players in his squad without pointing the finger.[LNB]Auldrob
