John Cruces, Kirkby[LNB]I CAN'T help think that had we held the lead on Sunday for longer, the game could have ran differently.[LNB]I know a lot of people pointed the finger at Mascherano for conceding the penalty but I think Insua was at fault for heading the long ball back into the channel directly to Valencia. It should have been headed up the park, or out to touch - not inside direct to a winger. That said, as in a lot of games this season, it wasn't until we went behind that we tried to push on.[LNB]Whilst it is no disgrace to lose at Old Trafford, we should have tried to push further up the field earlier.[LNB]On the other hand, at least we turned up and made a game of it, which after the disgrace at Wigan has to be a positive.[LNB]Looking forward, it's simply a must-win game against Sunderland and while that's a cliché, if we are to have any chance of fourth place we have to go on a winning run from now to the end of the season.
