Liverpool FC Jury: Reds fans react to Blackpool embarrassment

Damian Kavanagh: Fans were let down big time by performance against Blackpool[LNB]WE were all let down big time on Sunday.[LNB]Credit to Blackpool but we shouldn't be subjected to performances like this.[LNB]We all want a change of owners who have held our club back, but not even they should take any blame for a total lack of fight and quality in yet another dire first-half showing. [LNB] We've got a squad full of internationals and a manager whose rightly earned his reputation for being a great organiser of teams, but between the lot of them they're coming up with nothing![LNB]Our defence is exposed and our attack is pedestrian. Roy's preferred system doesn't suit the midfield players we've got at the club so until he gets somebody else in, he should be playing to the strengths of what we've got and pressing teams higher up the pitch.[LNB]Johnson should either play right midfield or be ordered to stay in his own half and mark better. If he's not to be replaced by Kelly. Putting Meireles out wide and starting with Poulsen were mistakes.[LNB]Chris Lalley: Sunday's result against Blackpool was a complete embarrassment[LNB]'THE shackles are off, the shackles are off, Benitez has gone, we can now play with freedom!' - Liverpool fans, less than a month ago.[LNB]Embarrassing.[LNB]The single word that currently sums up our once-admired club, both on an off the pitch.[LNB]Sunday's home defeat to Blackpool was just the latest in a series of results that are, quite frankly, unacceptable.[LNB]There now seems to have been a sudden change of opinion from within the stands in such a short period of time and with some, a reality hitting home as to just how wrong they were. Rafa had faults but I think it is now plain to see just how good a job he was able to do under the clubs current conditions.[LNB]We have replaced a world class manager, snapped up by the European Champions, with one that would be out of his depth in a car park puddle at Melwood! Excuses being offered by the man are already cringe-worthy. This is not Fulham Mr Hodgson, mediocrity is not good enough. This is Liverpool FC!
