Liverpool FC half-term report - your say on the Reds' season so far
LIVERPOOL FC entered 2011 on a high with a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Bolton Wanderers, but the season so far has been a difficult one for the Reds, to say the least.[LNB]New manager Roy Hodgson has come under increasing pressure from the terraces for some poor performances at Anfield and a terrible sequence of away results - despite a handful of solid victories lifting the gloom somewhat.[LNB]In addition, the Reds' squad has struggled to reach its potential with star names suffering from injuries and loss of form.[LNB]Before Christmas, we asked you to vote in our half-term survey on Liverpool's season so far, with hundreds of you taking part - here are the results, and please add your comments below too.[LNB]1. Who is your Liverpool FC player of the season so far?[LNB]Mixed results here, with no obvious winner and several players attracting support. Tellingly, the two players who typically lead this type of vote - Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard - are not in the top three.[LNB]Instead, new signing Raul Meireles is third with 20% of the vote, midfielder Lucas finished second on 24.6%, and goalkeeper Pepe Reina finished top, just pipping the Brazilian with 26.1%.[LNB] Biggest disappointment >>>>>>
