Dirk Kuyt[LNB]DIRK KUYT is daring to dream that Holland are poised to conquer the world - as Jamie Carragher confirmed the curtain has been permanently brought down on his international career.[LNB]Liverpool's Dutch forward played a key role in his country's thrilling 2-1 win over Brazil in Port Elizabeth yesterday, providing the flick on for Wesley Sneijder's crucial second goal.[LNB]Holland are now odds-on favourites to reach their first World Cup final since 1978 and they will play Uruguay in Cape Town on Tuesday night, but Kuyt is refusing to get carried away.[LNB]While little was expected of them in the build-up to yesterday's clash with the pre-tournament favourites, now they find themselves in a position of scrutiny following a deeply impressive performance.[LNB] However, Kuyt - who expects to talk with new Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson today to hear his plans for the future - has promised he will do all he can to help make the opportunity of a lifetime come true.[LNB]'It was such an amazing feeling to win as we did,' said Kuyt. 'We didn't do too well in the first half and Brazil were much the better side but things changed quickly in the second half.[LNB]'Once we got our goal to get back level, you could see the confidence that we had and it was nice to get the second. With a bit of luck, we could have scored a couple more and it and could easily have finished 4-1.[LNB]'We are all so happy and we know how close we are to getting to the final. This is something we have dreamed about our whole lives but we know that we have got to be careful and everyone expects us to get there now.
