Liverpool FC fans letters: Tom Hicks Junior so insulting and obnoxious

ONE Hicks down, two to go. The sooner we replace the owners with someone who knows what they are doing and has the resources to put their ideas into action, the better.[LNB]scotsscouser1[LNB]LET'S take football out of the equation and put it in context.[LNB]A senior executive director of a company has insulted (it seems without provocation) a customer. That's it, plain and simple.[LNB]If a chief exec of M&S, BT, RBS etc made such remarks at their customer base, you would expect the same.[LNB]Moreover, there would be outrage and calls of resignation from all the papers.[LNB]Woody_[LNB]I CANNOT help but feel that all this in-fighting and fans' relentless quest to out the existing board is making us look more and more like Newcastle United.[LNB]Newcastle are a passionately supported club but have yet to find suitable buyers, even at the lower end of the market.[LNB]I hope we are not tearing ourselves apart and making the club an unattractive proposition for other investors.[LNB]If we are doing that, then I think we will only have two options: sticking with the current board or the fans' buy-out, which still seems a far off possibility.[LNB]Any other offers will probably be from even worse opportunists.[LNB]RedRain[LNB]WHILE the resignation of Tom Hicks Junior from the board is good publicity for the Spirit of Shankly group, it doesn't change the position of Liverpool Football Club one jot.[LNB]bazaDred
