Liverpool FC fans jury

JOHN CRUCES, Kirkby[LNB]LAST week I wrote that I had been taking a load of stick going into the derby and was told we would take a hiding. Well it's safe to say both sides took a hiding in one of the fiercest fought-out derbies in years. [LNB]Obviously the focal point in the first half was the sending off. There can be no arguments that it was a red for the Greek, however considering that Fellaini was already on a yellow card he was very fortunate not to be carded as well, as was Pienaar for his challenge on Mascherano.[LNB]It would be easy to point fingers at who fouled who, but if I was blue the only question I would be asking is, where was the attacking play when facing 10men?[LNB]If anything 10 men benefited us more. Simply speaking we wanted it more. All 10 players 'played for the shirt'.[LNB]Moving forward we have to now kick on to save something from the season. If we play every game as a derby then we should be okay for the important Champions League place.
