Liverpool FC fans' jury - vital win against Spurs
JOHN CRUCES, Kirkby[LNB]LAST night's game was a huge result and in fairness has probably kept us in the chase for fourth place as had we lost seven points on Spurs it would surely have been too much to catch at this stage of the season.[LNB]The facts remain the season as a whole has been poor and we have been in a shocking run of form, which in turn has effected confidence.[LNB]The pressure going into last night's game has been felt all week. Thankfully the side have closed ranks and pulled together, it has been needed that's for sure and the win will hopefully give us something to build on.[LNB]Moving forward it would be nice to get away from the farcical rumours that are being heard and instead concentrate on what happens on the park, then maybe we can look at the route of the problems. Kuyt through the middle has to better than Ngog on his own. Riera coming back gave us a natural balance and credit to Aquilani for showing more in the advanced role.
