LIVERPOOL'S last performance against Stoke City following the draw at Wigan Athletic has produced an unprecedented response from angry and concerned Reds' supporters.[LNB]The ECHO's website has received around 500 online comments to our match reports while many other supporters have contacted us via emails and letters to the ECHO Sports Desk.[LNB]Here is a sample of what some fans have been saying about the team and manager Roy Hodgson.[LNB]Don't miss your chance to have your say - visit our message boards or write to the Sports Desk.[LNB] FIFTY-TWO years a Liverpool fan and now it's come to this - what the hell is happening to my club? Roy Hodgson should never have been given the job to begin with.[LNB]For me there is only one man for this job and I am 100% convinced that he can turn it around - Martin O'Neill.[LNB]He's waiting in the wing's so lets get him in place.[LNB]Something has got to happen and it's got to happen fast because this club is falling apart at the seams and Hodgson has not got a clue how to stop it.[LNB]LFCPete[LNB]ANY team would find it hard to defend against the power play of Stoke City.[LNB]There is no real shame in conceding the odd goal to them and, to be honest, I thought the Liverpool defence did well, especially for the first 55 minutes.[LNB]But if you can't match such a direct team physically, your only option is to outplay them with skill and movement.[LNB]Keeping possession, incisive passing, getting behind the defence - all attributes that the present Liverpool side seems incapable of. There is a lack of real quality in this side where so many players seem uncomfortable on the ball.[LNB]The trail of poor signings by Benitez has been carried on by Hodgson.[LNB]But, additionally and crucially, the latter seems incapable of squeezing the maximum out of this present squad.[LNB]Dave Rooney, Aintree
