REGARDING the rumours that Juventus are being linked with Rafa Benitez as their next boss.[LNB]Rafa is a world class manager and obviously a lot of teams wish to be linked with him; his record speaks for itself.[LNB]It would be interesting to see what would happen to Liverpool if he left and who we would be able to attract to our club and what the new man in charge could do.[LNB]We have decent players at our club, from those inherited and much younger players. Now we are seeing some returning from injury and the fact that others now have woken up from their slumber and realise they have to play with passion, commitment and pride, then the slump we have endured thus far will be addressed.[LNB]I would be happy for Rafa to stay, as he is the right man for the job.[LNB]A replacement could see us go back to the barren years of Graeme Souness and Roy Evans.[LNB]jbarkingmad[LNB]IT would be a good deal for Liverpool to sell Fernando Torres to Manchester City for £100m.[LNB]I believe he is going the way of Michael Owen and will only get cheaper as time goes by.[LNB]£100m would be the catalyst to starting the Reds' new stadium.[LNB]When FIFA/UEFA gets its way we will need the revenue from the stadium to qualify for the Champions League as debt will be an issue.[LNB]Whether we get into the top four to qualify for the competition though, is another matter...[LNB]illustrator
