Liverpool FC fan letters - great to see Reds fight

WELL done to Liverpool for defeating Everton in last Saturday's derby at Anfield.

Like all our best performances this season - Manchester United, Tottenham - it was a battle they refused to lose, despite a one-man disadvantage.

Steven Gerrard showed Rafa Benitez what many of us have been saying for weeks - he is much more influential back in the middle of the park.

That was the first time in months he looked like he enjoyed the game.

It's a good sign that they are battling because with our obvious lack of quality that is the only game we can play at the moment.

I feel we can get something at Arsenal; it looks like the best ploy is to concede as many corners as possible!

IF we can nick a win at Arsenal, that would be huge for Liverpool's season.

It would make us far more confident and scare the pants off any opposition. But the Gunners are going to be hurting and will try to fight back against us; we just have got to be tight.

There's a big couple of weeks ahead and we need the Kop Army on top tune.

CONFIDENCE is up, especially winning without needing Fernando Torres.

It should give heart to the rest of the team should he get injured again after he returns.

I believe our bad spell is behind us and this is the charge in the latter part of the season that the club seems to have every season.

There is a real possibility of us even ending up third come the end of the season.

Considering we were in "meltdown" that really would be an achievement.
