AN EXACT size replica of Anfield's famous dressing rooms has been built inside a Liverpool art gallery.[LNB]Bulgarian-born Daniel Bozhkov has recreated Liverpool FC's team facilities on the ground floor of The Bluecoat, as his contribution to the Biennial festival of contemporary art.[LNB] It includes copies of the bright red benches, football shirts and a massage table from the original space.[LNB] Technicians from the Bluecoat visited Anfield to measure up the dressing rooms to ensure the replica was the correct size.[LNB]Instead of plain white walls, the space has been constructed from sheets of perforated metal used to board up the windows and doors of empty houses in the Anfield area of the city.[LNB]Bozhkov, who is not a big football fan, said he was intrigued by the sense of community between supporters rather than by the sport of football itself.[LNB]He said: 'Football is one of those things where people come together and experience something as a community, it's one of the last remaining social spaces.[LNB]'People talk about it as if it is a religion.[LNB]'I was also interested that this is the dressing room of one of the biggest teams in the world and yet it is so austere and humble.[LNB]'It could be the changing room of a school in the 70s.'
