Daniel Agger 300[LNB]DANIEL AGGER today admitted Liverpool's performance at Portsmouth was unacceptable after their desperate season lurched to a new low.[LNB]The Reds face a huge battle to turn their campaign around after they lost for the seventh time in the Premier League, this time 2-0 at Fratton Park.[LNB]It was one of the worst displays they have produced under Rafa Benitez in recent seasons and supporters are clearly starting to lose patience with the way things are unravelling.[LNB]They, though, are not the only ones who are smarting, as a visibly upset Agger revealed Liverpool's travails have left him 'bitterly disappointed'.[LNB]If Benitez is going to turn things around, beating Wolves on Boxing Day at Anfield is absolutely imperative to lift the gloom and provide some much needed self-belief.[LNB]'It goes without saying that we are extremely disappointed and we know that it simply isn't good enough for this club,' said Agger.[LNB]'We have got to change this around. It didn't happen against Portsmouth but we can't let it go on any further.[LNB]'Why is this happening? It's a bit of everything I suppose but we have got to try and get some confidence from somewhere soon.[LNB]'You get that by winning games but we are not doing that at the moment.'
