Roy Hodgson 300[LNB]ROY HODGSON believes Liverpool will reap the rewards of a full week on the training ground when they travel to Tottenham on Sunday.[LNB]No midweek fixture has enabled the manager to focus on preparing his side for the tough trip to White Hart Lane as the Reds look to build on their 3-0 win over West Ham.[LNB]In contrast Spurs were involved in Champions League action last night and Hodgson was an interested spectator at their 3-0 win over Werder Bremen.[LNB]'These kind of weeks are very useful in terms of getting a day off for the players, which in some weeks with three matches you don't get,' he said.[LNB] 'More importantly it's a chance for us to work at our attacking play and our defensive play and hone the types of skills we're looking for from the players.[LNB]'You can't do that when you've got three games in a week. I like these weeks very much. We've got a good idea of what Tottenham are about and it's going to be a question of can we produce another performance in order to unsettle them.'[LNB]The Reds have picked up 13 points out of the last 18 on offer and Hodgson has been delighted by his players' response after a dismal start to the campaign left them in the drop zone.
