Roy Hodgson[LNB]LIVERPOOL'S season lurched to a depressing new low as they were booed off after losing 2-1 to Blackpool at Anfield this afternoon.[LNB]It is a defeat which has increased mounting pressure on Reds boss Roy Hodgson after The Kop was heard chanting "Dalglish" shortly before the final whistle.[LNB]On a day when Charlie Adam and Luke Varney scored for Ian Holloway's enthusiastic side, that chant carried particular significance.[LNB]Dalglish, after all, was the public's favourite to succeed Rafa Benitez in the summer and, coming so soon after losing to Northampton in the Carling Cup, it suggests patience has worn thin.[LNB] Hodgson admitted after this defeat that Liverpool cannot consider themselves to be above a relegation battle and, if they keep producing performances as abject as this, there is only one way they will be heading.
