Managing director Ian Ayre is out in Spain to help finalise the signing of Sahin according to Spanish paper AS and it seems for cult hero Xabi Alonso has been speaking highly of the club and Sahin seems convinced.
With Brendan Rogers previous working relationship with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea and the fact the pair still talk a deal for Sahin could very well be done within days.
Tello has been told he can leave the Nou Camp either on loan or for £5 million but will have to fend off interest from Atletico Madrid who also have expressed an interest in signing the player.
