Roy Hodgson was berated by the Liverpool fans during their shocking 1-0 home defeat to struggling Wolves on Wednesday night. A section of Kop called for Kenny Dalglish to replace him at the helm. Does Hodgson need to go? And is King Kenny really the answer to the Anfield crisis? TELL US WHAT YOU THINK On a night when Arsenal were pegged back by 10-man Wigan in a 2-2 draw and Chelsea grabbed a 1-0 home win over Bolton, Hodgson pleaded with the Liverpool fans for patience. [LNB]Club favourite and former manager Dalglish was a popular choice to succeed Rafa Benitez in the summer, butHodgson said: 'I am getting used to it (the chanting). Kenny is a Liverpool legend. [LNB]'I don't like hearing those things and I am working as hard as I can. It is something I appreciate but I suppose it is the Kop's way of telling us they are not happy with what the team is producing. [LNB]'As the manager you take responsibility, so I will take that on the chin. I can only hope that those fans become supporters because the club needs support. [LNB]'I am still waiting for the famous Anfield support as it has not beenhere since I came. [LNB]'We are not deliberately losing matches. You know what these players are capable of. All I can say is that it is time for people to help us along. We lacked quality and confidence.[LNB] 'I have seen times like this before. But I have belief in my ability and the players are working hard to give me and the club success. At the minute we are not succeeding. Not much went right for us except the fact that people tried to keep going, worked as hard as they could but technically we weren't anywhere near our best. [LNB]'The tempo of our play was nowhere near what we like it to be. As a result we endedup losing. I think we can consider ourselves a bit unlucky to lose it, Ithink 0-0 would not have been an unfair result but there you go. They got a lucky break and put the ball away so we lose all three points and disappoint our fans yet again.' [LNB]Wolves fans goaded the Kop by singing: 'How bad must you be? We're playing away'. Match-winner Ward was sent off in this fixture last season and McCarthy said: 'Justice was a long time coming. He was getting sent off last year but Pepe Reina ran 70 yards tomake sure he got sent off.'
