According to reports in The Mirror, Liverpool shot stopper Pepe Reina could be set to leave Anfield after seven years of service.

Reina's recent spell on the side lines for Liverpool is the longest the keeper has been out of any side in his career and with Brad Jones proving to be a more than capable deputy the pressure is on Reina to maintain his form is risk being dropped by Rodgers

The Liverpool goal keeper's agent has reportedly been 'testing the water' to see if he can find the Spaniard a club that can afford his £100k-a-week wages

Arsenal are being seen as front-runners with Arsene Wenger looking for an experienced keeper to provide competition and help progress Wojciech Szczesny skills.

There are also reports that a swap deal between Arsenal and Liverpool could be an option, with Reina heading to London with flying winger Theo Walcott heading the other way. But Rodgers would only trade with Arsenal if he was sure he could bring in their goal keeping target Ali Al-Habsi from Wigan in the same transfer window
