Liverpool and AC Milan target Ajax wonderkid

AC Milan are set to rival Liverpool for the signing of Danish wonderkid Christian Eriksen as early as this January.

TalkSPORT are reporting that AC Milan and Liverpool are just two of many clubs interested in Eriksen – as the Dane is now making an impact in The Champions League – most recently against Mancheser City.

Following a summer transfer exodus, AC Milan currently find themselves limited on big name players. Creative midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is rumoured to be after an exit from the San Siro – and Eriksen would be able to replace the Ghanian with relative ease.

It is rumoured that Eriksen adores the history and dominance of AC Milan and likes the challenge of helping the club reach the summit of Italian and European football once more.

Similiar to the challenge faced at Liverpool.

Both clubs once dominated their respective leagues as well as Europe – and Liverpool are just an attractive proposition as AC Milan – at the moment.

With fears that Liverpool may not be able to afford Nuri Sahin at the end of the season, or that Madrid will be eager for his return – Rodgers is after a young, creative midfielder who will need the ability and creativity to help him re-vitalize Liverpool into the club they once were.

AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi was recently sentenced to one year in jail – Milan will likely struggle to come up with the funds necessary to sign the Dane – unless Galliani works wonders in the transfer market in order to raise the funds for Eriksen.

Ajax will no doubt command alot of money for their new shining star. Given his potential and current form in the Eredivisie and The Champions League – Eriksen will cost either side £20million – minimum.
