Roman Pavlyuchenko has accused boss Harry Redknapp of mocking him and says he cannot wait to quit Tottenham Hotspur when the transfer window opens. [LNB]The little-used striker is so baffled by his treatment that he ironically claimed Redknapp could be meting out punishment for the Russia international's part in denying England a place at Euro 2008. [LNB]Despite interest from clubs in Italy, Portugal and the Premier League, the 28-year-old hopes to return home, with Lokomotiv Moscow, Zenit St Petersburg and his former club Spartak Moscow leading the chase.[LNB] Missed opportunity: Pavlyuchenko has failed to impress during his spell at Spurs[LNB] 'It's a pity that Father Christmas does not exist, because if hedid I would have asked him for a contract with another club,'Pavlyuchenko told a Russian newspaper.[LNB] 'I'd like to go to Russia, but dreams don't always become reality. You can't even imagine how tired I am of sitting on the bench. I'd liketo play football. [LNB]'I have a general feeling that the coach makes fun of me. Maybe it'strue, as some say, that he is taking revenge for the defeat of Englandtwo years ago.' [LNB]From Russia without love: Pavlyuchenko is keen to leave Spurs[LNB][LNB]Pavlyuchenko scored both goals as Russia beat England 2-1 at theLuzhniki Stadium in October 2007, which all but ended Steve McClaren'shopes of qualifying for the European Championship. [LNB]The target man was brought to White Hart Lane after helping hiscountry finish third at Euro 2008, but found opportunities hard to comeby once Redknapp replaced Juande Ramos as boss in October last year. [LNB]He has started just two Carling Cup matches and appeared for fewerthan 90 minutes over four substitute appearances in the Premier Leaguethis season after falling behind Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and PeterCrouch in the pecking order. [LNB]Asked to share a humorous story from the last 12 months,Pavlyuchenko replied: 'Here is the latest anecdote from London: HarryRedknapp put Roman Pavlyuchenko in the starting line-up. Alas, thiswould be funny if it weren't so sad. [LNB]'Before the Carling Cup game against Manchester United, Redknappcalled me over and said, "tomorrow you'll have a chance to distinguishyourself in front of 75,000 spectators, you should take it". Take it? Ispent the whole 90 minutes on the bench.' [LNB]Redknapp instead chose Defoe and Keane to start up front at OldTrafford on December 1, bringing Crouch on to no avail in the secondhalf after United had taken a 2-0 lead. [LNB] First choice: Defoe[LNB]Favourite: Peter Crouch[LNB]Irish stout: Keane[LNB] [LNB]The Spurs boss is happy to cash in on Pavlyuchenko next month, butthe club have scared off many suitors by demanding £15million for aplayer they bought for £13.8m. [LNB]Roma and Sporting Lisbon have been told a loan deal is out of thequestion, though a part-swap for Liverpool's Ryan Babel might beconsidered. [LNB]Target: Liverpool and Man City are keen on Milevskiy[LNB][LNB] Pavlyuchenko's agent Oleg Artemov confirmed: 'Tottenham are ready tostart talks about selling the player and are not considering loanoptions. I can tell you that there is an option for Pavel to return toRussia in January. Three clubs are interested.' [LNB]Zenit and Spartak's interest is well known, though they are reluctant to pay more than £10m. [LNB]Reports in Ukraine say Milevskiy is the subject of a battle betweenLiverpool and Manchester City following Dynamo's decision to rejectLokomotiv's £9m bid for their 24-year-old hot shot. The Ukrainianchampions insist they want double. [LNB]Pavlyuchenko is now preparing for his second new year in England andrecalls how he stunned his neighbours 12 months ago by celebrating onMoscow time. [LNB][LNB] [LNB]'New Year is a home fest and I always celebrate it with my familyand close friends. But last year, when we were in London, we started tocelebrate at 9pm, when in Moscow was already midnight. We tumbled on tothe street, letting off fireworks, and all our neighbours thought wewere just crazy Russians.' [LNB] Dawson would do Fab job for England!
