Lee warned by FA

The Football Association has warned Liverpool assistant manager Sammy Lee about his future conduct. Lee admitted improper conduct to a Regulatory Commission after being charged over his behaviour towards fourth official Stuart Attwell during the Reds' defeat at Tottenham. Liverpool lost 2-1 at White Hart Lane and Lee was sent from the touchline following his behaviour in the closing stages. Lee protested with Attwell after two penalty appeals were rejected in a tense finale and was sent to the stands by referee Phil Dowd. The commission opted against a stiffer penalty having taken into account the former Bolton boss' "exemplary" disciplinary record. Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has already been charged with improper conduct relating to comments made to the media after defeat at Spurs.
