Glen Johnson has paved the way for a possible move to Real Madrid from Liverpool in January by taking Spanish lessons.[LNB] Real boss Jose Mourinho has made a striker his priority in the transfer window but remains a keen admirer of the England right back, who cost Liverpool £18million from Portsmouth last year. [LNB] Good to talk: Liverpool's Glen Johnson (left)[LNB]Liverpool would be happy to recoup that fee on the 26-year-old, and Johnson revealed he has been learning the language with a little help from teammates Fernando[LNB] Torres, Pepe Reina and Daniel Pacheco. 'The Spaniards at Liverpool teach me a few words,' said Johnson. 'They're not shy about correcting me, so it's good that I can go away and practise and get feedback on my pronunciation.[LNB] 'In any walk of life it can be advantageous to learn languages. You never know what the future holds.[LNB] 'The typical English person doesn't learn the language when they go to Spain or to speak to Spanish friends, expecting people to speak English to them. I don't want to do that.[LNB] 'I think it can surprise people if you start speaking their language and they are not expecting it. It's like a secret weapon.'
