Dirk Kuyt has a shoulder injury. Kuyt injured his shoulder when he landed awkwardly while attempting to control a cross while on international duty. The Liverpool forward has now returned to Melwood to be asessed by the club's medical team but is apparently facing a few weeks on the sidelines. "He will probably have a few weeks off and at 4pm today he will step on to the plane to Liverpool," said Dutch boss Bert Van Marwijk yesterday.
