Kuyt injured
Dirk Kuyt picked up an ankle injury on international duty. Kuyt lasted only 29 minutes of Holland's 4-1 defeat of Sweden before being stretchered off after falling akwardly following an ariel challenge. Kuyt was taken to hospital by ambulance after his fall and Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk admits he fears the injury is 'serious'. Kuyt will be assessed by Liverpool's own doctors when he returns to Melwood later today but is highly unlikely to feature against Everton on Sunday.
