Klinsmann heads back to America to puts his family first and take a break

Former Bayern Munich and Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann has ruled out an imminent return to the game by announcing he is to head back to the United States with his family.   [LNB]The 45-year-old had settled in Huntington Beach in California at the end of his playing career, but was tempted back to Europe - first to coach Germany to third place at the 2006 World Cup and then, two years later, to take charge of Bayern.   [LNB] Crowd pleaser: Klinsmann was a fans' favourite at White Hart Lane[LNB]He lasted less than a year at the Bavarians' helm before being sackedand, having recently announced that he will not be returning to coachin the Bundesliga, he has now ruled himself out of any other job inEurope.  [LNB]National hero: Klinsmann's Germany finsihed third at the World Cup in 2006 in front of their own fans[LNB]We are going back to America as a family after 18 months in Munich,' he told RTL television. 'We are taking the children back to where they grew up. That is our family plan, which has priority.'[LNB]Klinsmann, who enjoyed two spells in England as a player with Tottenham in the 1990s, had been linked with a return to the Premier League with Liverpool.   [LNB]The 45-year-old has not dismissed the prospect of a return to football indefinitely but, for the time being, the Californian sun is more appealing.   [LNB]'Maybe after the World Cup, I will take on another role in football,' he said, before admitting the Bayern opportunity may have come too soon for him.   [LNB]'It was right to call it a day,' he added.
