Danish star Simon Kjaer realises a good World Cup will improve his chances of a big move. The Palermo central defender is already being linked with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City - whilst Inter Milan and Juventus are also said to be keen. The 20-year-old is widely considered one of the best young defenders in Europe and he had a sensational debut campaign in Serie A last season. It has been reported in recent weeks that he could be a target for a January move, but he seems to suggest that he will be staying in Sicily until the summer at least. "I am well aware that in case I do well at the World Cup, there will be good possibilities to move on," Kjaer told Sporten. "Of course, I take all the attention as a boost, but I should be patient and not move on too quickly. "I should continue to play every weekend, that is the most important. Then, it doesn't really matter which club it is." Kjaer enhanced his reputation over the weekend as he helped Denmark qualify for South Africa with a 1-0 win over Sweden which saw him keep Zlatan Ibrahimovic quiet. "You can't take out a player of that quality the whole match." he added. "But I felt we got him down on a level where we could handle him."
