Former Liverpool forward Harry Kewell is in no rush to decide on his next move, with AS Roma keen to sign the Australia international.
The 29-year-old was allowed to leave Anfield at the end of last season after five injured-affected campaigns and he has recently been on international duty with the Socceroos.
Kewell told reporters: "I'm on holiday for a week or so and then I'll decide my future, but for now I'm just going to relax.
"In this day and age clubs take their time. There's a long way to go and a big process to go through, so I'm in no rush."
Kewell scored 16 goals in 139 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions following his arrival from Leeds United.
Meanwhile, Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has made clear his admiration for Reds midfielder Yossi Benayoun, who has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer.
He told the Portsmouth News: "Of course I'd like to have someone like Yossi Benayoun.
"He's a top player, but I don't know what the chances are of getting him out of Liverpool."
