Kenny praises fans

Kenny Dalglish praised the Liverpool fans for their support on Sunday. Despite losing 4-0 to Spurs, it was only the Reds supporters that could be heard at White Hart Lane. Now Dalglish wants his players to repay that support by beating Brighton tonight. "For us the best part of the day was the support we got. The fans supported us fantastically and I think the boys will bear that in mind and look forward to repaying them in some way," said the boss. "I think we have exhausted Sunday with what we have said. It didn't please anybody and the players were really disappointed. We don't think we played well, even with eleven men we didn't play well. Maybe that's the standard we are setting for ourselves but we are not going to settle for anything less. We will look to do the best we possibly can in every game, we won't always play well but we will always try our best. "We didn't start so well on Sunday, which contributed to our downfall, along with Spurs' play."
