Kenny delighted with win

Kenny Dalglish was pleased with yesterday's defeat of Wolves. The Reds got back to winning ways in the league by beating Wolves 2-1 at Anfield. It was a deserved victory said Dalglish. "I think we deserved three points although it was difficult at times. They put us under a bit of pressure in the first half but we went 2-0 up. They scored early in the second half which gave them a bit of momentum," the boss told reporters after the match. "Equally at the other end we hit the bar twice and there was an unbelievable save from Luis. Overall we deserved to win. "If we'd [converted all our chances] there'd have been no one left in the stadium with 20 minutes to go! We maybe got a bit of good fortune with the first goal but we deserved a bit of luck - we've not had too much recently. "We probably played better than that in one of the games we lost - against Stoke. We never had much luck that day. "We probably played better there but we didn't half compete here. There are various attributes you need if you want to move forward and one of them is to compete properly. We certainly did that. "Wolves deserve credit for the way they went about the game. Their last performance against QPR - I don't think Mick was too happy with that. Today was a total contrast to how they played against QPR."
