As the dust settled on Liverpool's dismantling of Manchester United, one question remained at Anfield: when will the king's permanent coronation take place? Since replacing Roy Hodgson as manager on January 9, Kenny Dalglish has not made a false move. [LNB]Aside from Sunday's thrilling 3-1 victory, he has overseen a win at Stamford Bridge, found a way for Liverpool to play with a swagger once more and brought unity and respect to a club that, not so long ago, was a fractured mess. [LNB]He has also impressed John W Henry, the principal of the club's American owners, Fenway Sports Group. Henry gave a ringing endorsement of the work that has been done via his Facebook status in the hours after Liverpool had progressed into the Europa League's last 16. [LNB] Smiles better: Dalglish cannot hide his delight as events unfold at Anfield on Sunday[LNB]So, it is curious to those looking on that no move has happened to make Dalglish's role as manager official. [LNB]As club legend Alan Hansen said: 'Any manager other than Kenny would now be a disappointment to supporters.' [LNB]But there are a number of factors to consider. First, both sides are relaxed about the current arrangement. Dalglish is making the most of his unexpected second chance, while FSG know the club could not be in safer hands. Whether that was always the case is unclear. [LNB]
