Kenny Dalglish on crunch clash against Manchester United
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish insists last weekend's defeat at West Ham will not be swept under the carpet as they have to 'repair' the problems they experienced at Upton Park.[LNB]The 3-1 loss ended an eight-match unbeaten run in all competitions and severely dented the Reds' hopes of sneaking into Champions League qualification contention.[LNB]However, with arch rivals Manchester United next up at Anfield on Sunday, Dalglish knows this week has to be about learning from their mistakes and preparing for that clash.[LNB] Lessons learned: Dalglish has sparked a revival in fortunes at Anfield [LNB]'We will sit down and the players can go through the game and make sure we learn from the mistakes that were made.[LNB]'We will look to see where we went wrong and try to repair it.[LNB]'Collectively we will move forward but we won't dismiss it. We will get back in and a week's training will do us no harm at all,' said the Liverpool boss.[LNB]Dalglish's plans suffered a blow when it was confirmed right-back Martin Kelly, who has been an ever-present in the league since the 59-year-old took over in January, will be out for a month with a hamstring tear sustained against West Ham.[LNB] Crocked: Kelly receives treatment after injuring his hamstring at West Ham[LNB]'He'll be out for a number of weeks.
