Kenny Dalglish insists Pepe Reina won't swap Liverpool for Manchester United

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has rejected rumours linking Pepe Reina with a move away from Anfield. [LNB]Reina hinted that Dalglish risked losing him to rivals Manchester United if the Reds failed to reach to the Champions League for the second year in a row in an interview on a Spanish radio station earlier this week. [LNB]United and Arsenal are firm admirers of Liverpool's No 1 yet they will have tobe prepared to pay the ?20million stipulated in his release clause toprise Reina away from Merseyside.[LNB] Interview: Reina arose speculation about his future when he suggested he could replace Van der Sar at United[LNB]However Dalglish is confident Reina will stay at Liverpool for the foreseeable future and help the club return to the Champions League.[LNB]'We have a fantastic goalkeeper and he will be here for a long, long time,' said Dalglish.[LNB]'The Champions League is what everyone here wants to get to. For us it's only been a year where we've not had it and that's what we want to get back. It should be the same for every player, we should all be aiming for that.'[LNB]Confident Kenny: Dalglish believes Reina will stay put[LNB]Reina, 28, signed a newsix-year deal last April but wants to play in the Champions League and will not make any decision about hisfuture until the summer.[LNB]United boss Sir Alex Ferguson made tentative approaches to the previous Anfieldownership in the summer about a ?20million bid for Reina. [LNB]That wasrebuffed, but the Scot's need for a safe pair of hands has beenaccentuated by the confirmation of Edwin van der Sar that he wouldretire at the end of the current campaign. [LNB]When asked onSpanish radio station Onda Cero last week about whether his future laywith his current employers or with their fierce rivals, Reina wasnon-committal.[LNB]He said: 'I won't lie, I want to play in the Champions League and challenge for titles.[LNB]'Van der Sar will hang up his gloves in the summer so of course[United] are looking.
