Kenny Dalglish backs Ryan Babel but warns Liverpool players of responsibilities
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has warned his players of their responsibilities when going on social networking site Twitter, but does not feel Ryan Babel should be punished further by the FA.[LNB]Babel yesterday accepted an improper conduct charge from the FA for posting comments and a doctored picture of Howard Webb wearing a Manchester United shirt after last Sunday's controversial FA Cup defeat at Old Trafford.[LNB]The Holland international, who has jokingly put himself in 'Twitterjail' and has not posted since the night of his indiscretion, will have a personal hearing on Monday to discover his punishment.[LNB] You twit! Babel landed himself in hot water after forwarding on a doctored picture of Howard Webb[LNB]However, Dalglish does not believe the sanction should be too severe against the 24-year-old, who was left out of the squad and sat in the Bloomfield Road stands on Wednesday.[LNB]'Ryan has to be responsible. If you are going to be on Twitter you have to be responsible,' said the Reds boss.[LNB]'You know the repercussions if you say or do something which is contentious. He never drew it (the picture) up, he just forwarded it on.[LNB]'I think it was a bit tongue-in-cheek, it wasn't his creation and he has apologised unreservedly to the referee.[LNB]'The club will take some action I would have thought and then that should be it for me.'
